Conference schedule
The first day of the conference, Monday October 8th, may be entitled "The mathematics of Sossinsky's friends", and will be consist of five one-hour talks by prominent mathematicians on their research results, not necessarily the latest ones, but results that they feel are appropriate for the occasion. The conference program for October 8th is the following:

11:00 - 12:00 - S. Duzhin (St. Petersburg) "The Poincare sphere revisited"
12:00 - 12:30 - Coffee break
12:30 - 13:30 - P. Dehornoy (Paris) "Braid ordering: history and connection with knots"
13:30 - 14:30 - Lunch at the IUM cafeteria
14:30 - 15:30 - B. Leclerc (Caen) "On the dual canonical basis"
15:30 - 16:30 - V. Vassiliev (Moscow) "Invariants of links in 3-manifolds"
The second day of the conference, Tuesday October 9th, may be called "Sossinsky's mathematics". It will consist of talks by five other prominent mathematicians on topics closely related to Sossinsky's own work, thus giving a brief chronology of his research career, and will be concluded by Alexey's own talk on his recent work. The conference program for October 9th is the following:
