Product Manager, Europe – Moscow

This position can be located in Moscow or St. Petersburg.

As a European Product Manager at Google, you bridge the needs of our customers (users, advertisers and partners) and the creativity of our engineering teams. You combine outstanding product vision with the hands-on skills to work with engineers and deliver new products and features quickly to markets across Europe, Middle-East, and Africa.

You will be responsible for the product from inception to launch and will drive a cross-functional team to ensure Google's products are innovative and bring new possibilities to users, advertisers, and partners. You will own one or a number of our products on web, mobile, or other platforms – for example, Google Search, Google Maps, Google Mail and Google Video.

Responsibilities:
- Identifying market opportunities and defining product vision and strategy.
- Understanding customer needs and gathering product requirements.
- Developing new products and enhancing existing products.
- Launch products.

Requirements:
- Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or related field required - Masters or PhD preferred.
- MBA degree highly regarded.
- End to end Product Management experience of software / web technologies.
- Demonstrable experience of gathering design requirements and converting them into a product vision.
- Hands-on developing Internet products and technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a team to rapidly produce prototypes and iterations.
- Entrepreneurial drive with appreciation of user-experience, business, and commercial issues.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong quantitative analytical abilities.
- Excellent general technical skills.
- Understanding of the Internet, Search Engine, and On-Line Advertising spaces.

Software Engineer Intern – Moscow

Google has an exciting and innovative internship programme for students pursuing degrees in Computer Science or a closely related field.

Internships are paid, full-time positions. Start and end dates are flexible with regard to academic schedules, but you'll be expected to commit to at least three months of full-time work. Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a PhD, MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics or closely-related field, and typically within 12-24 months of receiving degree.
- Excellent implementation skills (C / C++, Python, Java).

- Strong interest in product marketing, direct marketing, marketing program management, or consulting.
- Passion for analyzing products, customers and market dynamics.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills and demonstrated capacity for understanding strategy.
- Understanding of the search, online advertising, or web publishing markets and passion for working on a variety of product and search related challenges.
